Long before Rodney Bowen became a home inspector, his life was already being shaped around one thing: serving people.
His journey began with time in the United States Air Force, where he learned the value of discipline, responsibility, teamwork, and serving something bigger than himself. That experience eventually led him into local law enforcement, where he continued that calling in a different way—protecting, helping, and serving the people in his own community.
Looking back, Rodney can see how God was using each chapter of his life to prepare him for the next.
Eventually, God led Rodney to the world of home inspections. What may have looked like a change in careers was really another opportunity to use the tools, experiences, and abilities God had given him to serve people.
Today, Rodney doesn’t see home inspections as simply a job.
It’s another way to serve.
Every inspection gives him the opportunity to meet someone new, hear their story, help them understand a property, and hopefully make an important season of their life a little easier. The inspection is the tool—but the people are the reason.
Outside of work, Rodney’s greatest priority is family. Life at home is full, loud, busy, and—just the way he likes it. He loves taking family trips, making memories, and spending time with the people God has entrusted to him.
And then there’s fall.
For Rodney, fall brings together some of his favorite things: football, hunting trips, cooler weather, family time, and Thanksgiving. Thanksgiving is especially meaningful—a time to slow down, gather around the table, enjoy good food, and be reminded of just how much there is to be thankful for.
